Dear EMPA members,

In recent years, the Swiss Army had profound reforms. In 2003, the Swiss had the opportunity to vote on this reforms. The Swiss Army stays a militia Army and is deeply rooted in the population.

At the moment, there are discussions about the Swiss Army. Tight money, Army report, security policy, new airplanes or the abolition of the general conscription are important topics for debates.

For this reason, we will held after 11 years the congress of European Military Press Association in Switzerland. Host-City is Lucerne. We will visit the infantry, the Air Force and the Armed Forces College. The armament industry will also present an exhibition.

We are able to offer an attractive program. You will get information about the Swiss Army, the security policy and the famous Swiss armament industry.
